Job Description: Restaurant Cleaning Crew

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our restaurant cleaning crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for our customers and staff. This includes cleaning dining areas, kitchen spaces, restrooms, and other common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dining Area:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Wipe down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
Clean and sanitize chairs and tables.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Polish fixtures and maintain the overall appearance of the dining area.

2. Kitchen:

Clean and sanitize countertops, stovetops, ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Empty and clean trash and recycling bins.
Wash and sanitize sinks, cutting boards, and utensils.
Assist with dishwashing as needed.

3. Restrooms:

Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and countertops.
Refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers.
Sweep and mop restroom floors.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.

4. Common Areas:

Clean and sanitize entryways, waiting areas, and any other common spaces.
Dust and polish fixtures, mirrors, and other surfaces.
Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., hand sanitizer, tissues).

5. General Duties:

Follow all health and safety regulations.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Maintain cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
