At MAC, our housekeeping team is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our members expect and deserve. Beyond the physical upkeep of our facility, our Housekeepers contribute to a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere for both staff and members.

Key Responsibilities

Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect various surfaces including toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
Supply Management: Check and restock essential supplies like soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.
General Cleaning: Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.
Laundry Handling: Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.
Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.
Detail Cleaning: Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.
Chemical Handling: Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

Experience: Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are preferred.
Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects; stand and walk throughout the entire shift; work safely with chemicals.
