Overview:

The average work week is Tuesday through Saturday with the potential for night shifts, additional days, holidays, and overtime. Guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours of work per week.
The pay rate is $22 to $25 per hour based on verifiable experience. Employees are paid bi-weekly through direct deposit.
The job will be performed at various locations in and around Metro Detroit. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must.

Job Responsibilities (Varies from Job to Job):

Industrial Cleaning: clean industrial facilities, including floors, walls, ceilings, machinery, and equipment, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Industrial Painting: prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning or sanding before applying paint, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
Concrete Floor Scrubbing: operate industrial floor scrubbers or sweepers to clean large floor spaces efficiently.
Floor Stripping and Waxing: perform floor stripping to remove old wax and coatings, followed by floor waxing to apply a protective and glossy finish.
Carpet Cleaning: use carpet cleaning machines and equipment to deep-clean carpets, removing dirt, dust, stains, and allergens.
Equipment Operation: operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, airless paint sprayers, scissor lifts and aerial platforms, industrial vacuum systems, and carpet extractors.
Time Management: efficiently plan and manage time to complete projects within specified deadlines.

Job Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Demonstrate high proficiency in executing verbal instructions while on job sites to maintain the team’s active workflow and preserve the integrity of the work being done.
Demonstrate proficiency in reading, understanding, and executing written job instructions and procedures.
Must be able to work well with other peers and supervisors and communicate both verbally and written efficiently.
The ability to adapt to different tasks and work environments is essential.
Must be aware of safety guidelines and practices to ensure your well-being and the safety of your peers.
The ability to load, unload, and drive the company trucks from the warehouse in Waterford, MI to and from jobs when necessary.
The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have a functional smartphone as timekeeping (Time Sheet Mobile) and job site information (Basecamp) are communicated through apps.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the stamina to handle long periods of standing, walking, or engaging in repetitive motions.
Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl to reach different areas for cleaning.
Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods.
Must be able to climb ladders, work from stationary platforms from elevated heights, and confined spaces.
Must be able to wear protective clothing such as safety glasses, helmets, steel-toe shoes, or harnesses when necessary.
