Job Summary:

To receive, stock, issue and inventory medical equipment and supplies.

Work/Life Balance:

The Logistics department works a 5/2 schedule. You will work 12 hour shifts that are 2 days on, 5 days off, then 5 days on, 2 days off. You will work every other weekend but have 5 days off on the following weekend. This is a fantastic work/life balance that you will not find very often.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventories and restocks medical equipment and supplies in stockroom and on ambulances.

Issues required supplies and equipment to appropriate Team Members and maintains inventory of items.

Maintains complete and accurate inventory and asset control. Manage records for medical equipment and supplies including exchanged items in those locations where first responder items are pooled.

Inspects, cleans and repairs medical equipment as required.

Completes records and reports in a timely manner.

Ensures proper safeguarding of equipment and supplies.

Maintains a safe and clean work area.

Drive an ambulance, non-emergency, from time-to-time to pickup EMS equipment left at hospitals, restock ambulances at hospitals or posts, as well as moving ambulances on the EMSA premises.

Qualification Requirements:

Inspecting and cleaning equipment

Accurate auditing and recording of assets

Behavioral and Physical Skills:

Work independently with little supervision

Establish and maintain close working relationships with Team Members

Able to lift medical equipment and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds,

Physical Demands:

There is lifting and moving of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to use the hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to sit, stand and walk. The Team Member is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste and smell.

Maintain physical condition to enable proper performance of assigned job functions as determined by company policy.

Qualification Requirements

Certification(s) and/or License(s):

Must have current state driver license for minimum of 2-years with a clear driving record

Must successfully complete drug screening, physical ability test, driving record check, and background check

Must be18 years of age or greater

High school diploma or GED equivalent
