POSITION SUMMARY

An Evening Cleaning Technician will support general club operations by thoroughly/deep cleaning assigned areas and maintaining club quality standards. The right person for this job has extensive cleaning experience, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in their work. You will be using professional cleaning equipment and applying your skills and attention to detail to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.

Pay Rate: $12-22 an hour depending on experience

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Minimum, Grammar school or equivalent
Previous cleaning experience
Must be able to: Comfortably lift 25 lbs., Walk, stand, push, pull, reach, stoop, stretch, bend, sweep, wipe, mop, and vacuum frequently for long periods of time (up to 4 – 8 hours), and Work nights and weekends
Must know how to use housecleaning implements, such as mops, floor waxes, and scouring pads, to keep areas clean and well serviced.
Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazards.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembles materials and supplies from the supply room and transports them to the work area.
Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, equipment, and mopping floors with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease.
Uses damp, disinfectant-treated cloths and vacuum cleaner to dust windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in an orderly fashion.
Washes walls and ceilings using water, cleaning solutions, sponge, and cloths.
Periodically polishes floors using buffing machine and polish.
Strips and refinishes floors as necessary.
Carpet Extraction.
Performs other related work as required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Physical effort required is standing, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
