Summary:

Deep Cleaning Specialists (Housekeepers) assist the functionally impaired elderly who are homebound with chores that they are unable to perform. Chores may include deep cleaning of the home environment: dusting, mopping, cleaning, sweeping, the interior areas of the residence.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must have a valid Florida Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must use personal vehicle to drive to clients' homes.
Must be able to read, write, complete reports, and accept supervision.
Must have access to a smart phone for communication and time management.
Must be responsible for his or her own transportation to each client's assigned site during the workday.
High school diploma/GED
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
Report client-related issues to the office immediately.
1+ years janitorial/cleaning experience preferred.
Experience with home-based care is helpful.
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
Must successfully complete 30 hours of classroom and on-site training and demonstrate proficiency in required duties.
Submit to AHCA/DOEA background checks and drug screening.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for time management, work routines, equipment, customer service, keeping management up to date on workflow.
Perform general cleanup of all areas of the residence as directed.
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
Removing garbage and recycling.
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
Assist with chore activities related to pest control.
Ensure rooms have clear paths and are well-maintained.
Cleaning specialties - Hoarding, heavy cleaning, windows, schedule weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleanings.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am- 3:00pm.
Morning Shifts: 9:00am to 12:00pm
Afternoon Shifts: 12:30pm to 3:00pm
With 30-minute transition/lunch time break.
The position will be available during designated business hours. Designated business hours mean being readily available on the premises or by telecommunication.
Due to circumstances that may arise, overtime may be required at times.
The person in this position frequently communicates with clients who have inquiries or questions.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to move, transport, position, put, and remove equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs.
Occasionally operates a computer or other office products such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Frequently is in a client’s home setting.
