Sacred Heart Catholic Schoolseeks a motivated Part-time Custodian in L’Anse, MI. As Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school is well-maintained and operates smoothly. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the school environment clean, orderly, and conducive to learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other areas of the school.
Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
Clean and maintain school facilities including offices and library.
Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, and addressing other maintenance issues.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.

SCHEDULE This is a part-time position working approximately 15 hours per week. This position offers a flexible schedule, working any time between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required.
Previous custodial experience preferred, but not required.
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and complete VIRTUS training.
