Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness across commercial, industrial, and residential spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Autoscrub floors to maintain their appearance.
- Clean stainless steel
- Dust exhibits
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties as required in specific facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas by picking up litter and performing porter duties.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing all cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to residential painting or other maintenance tasks is appreciated.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
