On Time Staffing is seeking sanitation workers for our production facility in Irwindale, CA!
Starting pay rate: $17.25 per hour
Shifts:
- 3rd shift 10:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. rotating day off
Job Description: This role is a key position within our clients manufacturing plants and supports their production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.
- Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
- Sanitizing machinery with soluble solution
- May use floor scrubber to clean floors
- May be responsible for dumping trash and maintaining trash dock
- Follow all GMP procedures.
- Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation check list.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and walking.
- Set up & tear down production equipment as needed to perform specific cleaning applications.
- Inspect all equipment before releasing line to supervisor for inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Willingness and able to work in COLD environment. Constant 30-34 degrees.
- Must have experience working 3rd
- Previous sanitation experience is preferred
- Should be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Should be able to work long hours.
- Should have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds frequently
