Job Title: Housekeeping Lead
Reports To: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly
Department: Building Maintenance
Supervises: Housekeeping

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing quality housekeeping and locker room service for the club and property facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Scheduling of hours.
- Training of staff.
- Review of payroll for accuracy.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensures that club facilities are open daily between 6:00 and 7:00 A.M. every day including weekends and holidays, and the fitness center is open between 5:30 and 6:00 A.M.
- Ensures club facilities are member ready at all times.
- Coordinates work schedules with seasonal staff.
- Sweeps and mops all floors including outside areas around club facilities.
- Vacuums and shampoos carpets in club facilities.
- Dusts and polishes club furniture and fixtures including tables, dining chairs, baseboards, pictures, and fitness center equipment.
- Dusts and de-cobs lighting fixtures and other fixtures inside and outside club facilities.
- Ensures all club meeting rooms and hallways are properly arranged.
- Vacuums and cleans draperies, blinds, and upholstered furniture.
- Cleans windows and blinds.
- Empties ashtrays and garbage containers in all member areas and the main club offices.
- Waters container plants and flowers on club facilities.
- Scrubs and disinfects club bathrooms including golf course restrooms.
- Polishes all brass.
- Stocks and replaces towels, soap, and other toiletry supplies.
- Reports damage, theft, and articles found to supervisor.
- Observes precautions required to protect club property.
- Keeps housekeeping storage areas, offices, and carts well stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Ensures linens are stocked in restrooms and extra towels are always available for guest utilization.
- Cleans, polishes and replaces spikes on shoes and ensures that the necessary tools and cleaning supplies are in stock.
- Maintains accurate and updated records on member locker assignments and ensures lockers are in working order and cleaned.
- Ensures key system for lockers are organized and accurate with working locks and keys.
- Provides food and beverage service for locker room activities as needed including linen cloths for game tables.
- Re-stocks snack dispenser and containers.
- Maintains a clean and organized shoe shine and storage area.
- Orders and purchases housekeeping supplies as needed.
- Changes light bulbs as needed.
- Adheres to safety standards and reports any problems to management.
- Assists with maintenance duties including but not limited to painting and carpet cleaning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensures safety measures are in place and company safety program is followed.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Maintain effective employee and member relations.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
