Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to upholding high standards of hygiene.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Remove trash and recycling from all areas, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
