Urban Air McDonough is seeking an organized and meticulous individual to join our Team as Cleaning Specialist. The Cleaning Specialist will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the park. This position is tasked with cleaning and maintaining a clean environment in the park’s restrooms, café, party rooms, service hallways, and the reception and lobby area. Additional tasks include, but are not limited to, restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, vacuuming, spot-cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors.
This is a part-time role, with approximately 20–28 hours per week at $15 an hour. This role reports directly into the General Manager.
RESPONSBILITIES
Follow all health and safety guidelines and service, clean and supply all restrooms
- Clean reception and lobby area
- Clean cafeteria dining area, service hallways, and party rooms
- Wipe down equipment, mats, chairs, rails, and play area
- Wipe down kiosks, counters and clean the water fountain
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Dust ceiling vents and light fixtures
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, such as replacing toilet seats and unclogging sinks
- Perform and document routine inspections and notifying management of any deficiencies or repair needs
- Conduct monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
- Responsible for high touchpoint sanitation initiatives
- Clean attractions to eliminate unwanted debris/dust
- Empty waste containers and relocate trash to dumpster(s)
- Spot clean walls and windows using designated cleaning solution(s)
- Fill/refill paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers
- Wipe down tables/counters throughout the operating day
- Assist with in-Park event/conference set up; arrange tables and chairs
- Maintain adequate stock of equipment and supplies
- Clean parking lot daily; pick up debris, empty trash receptacles and replace trash bags
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of cleaning experience
- Must have reliable form of transportation to and from the park
- Willing and able to lift, push, pull up to 30 lbs
- Willing and able to follow directions and specific guidelines
- Able to identify areas that need extra attention, like corners and edge
- Ability to stay on task and knowing which areas need to be cleaned on a given day
- Able to work in a loud environment and amongst guests
