Job Overview
The Janitorial Technician is responsible for housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness of Pacific Aero Tech. Duties
- Basic knowledge of janitorial tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend, and lift 40lbs.
- Flexibility to often work, days, nights, or weekend shifts with dependable attendance.
- Ability to work with commercial cleaning products in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ability to read and write.

- The candidate must be a self- starter and able to manage time responsibly.
- Ability to manage inventory of janitorial consumables including timely requests to replenish.

-Tasks will include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and buffing of floors cleaning all office areas, restrooms, lunchroom, shop spaces, warehouse, polish room, company truck, and other areas as needed.

-Candidate must be able to handle constructive criticism and use it to better their performance.

-Candidate must be willing and able to complete hazardous waste training provided.

-Candidate must be able to perform minor repairs, such as replacing light fixtures, unclogging pipes, repairing sheet rock, painting, and other comparable minor maintenance tasks.

-candidate must be willing and able to perform other duties and assigned.

Skills
- Experience in residential painting is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Ability to perform floor care duties including buffing and waxing
- Familiarity with custodial duties and porter responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Understanding of facilities maintenance to keep equipment in good working order
- Capability to maintain industrial cleaning standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
