Position Overview: As a team member with SERVPRO, you’ll play a vital role in restoring homes and businesses affected by disasters such as floods, fires, smoke, and mold damage. You’ll also offer specialty cleaning services for carpets and upholstery, as well as routine cleaning for residential and commercial properties.
Training & Development: The training period will last approximately three months and will include:
- On-Site Experience: Shadow our experienced specialists to learn hands-on techniques.
- In-House Online Training: Complete training modules to gain theoretical knowledge.
- Certification: After two months of field experience, we will sponsor your official IICRC certification for carpet and upholstery cleaning.
Once your training is complete, you'll work independently or lead a small team on various projects. We provide guaranteed full-time hours (40+ per week) and opportunities for career advancement, including roles in estimating and department management.
Responsibilities:
- Assess materials to determine the appropriate cleaning techniques and chemicals.
- Complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Manage customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing excellent service.
- Organize and maintain your work vehicle and equipment.
- Set up job sites for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all safety and risk management protocols are followed.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and, with assistance, up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods during an 8-hour workday.
- Move equipment, furniture, and supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable local travel ability.
- Ability to pass a background check as required by law.
