Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail in all cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Handle floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Manage laundry duties (upon request) including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Assist in the management of housekeeping operations by following established procedures for cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field such as residential cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Must provide 3 professional and 3 personal references
- Speak English (conversational okay)
- Have your own transportation and cleaning supplies
- Have or be willing to get Business Liability Insurance
