Job Summary:
As a Lobby Attendant at Regent Santa Monica, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the resort's public areas. Your meticulous attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and dedication to creating a luxurious environment will contribute to the overall guest experience.
A little bit about your day:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, every day is different, but you will mostly be:
- Promote Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
- Maintain impeccable personal grooming standards to uphold the professional and property style of the hotel.
- Retrieve housekeeping assignments and other tools essential for your shift.
- Attend daily shift briefings.
- Ensure the public area checklist is completed and signed at the end of your shift.
- Organize all cleaning supplies and tools for your cart and workstation.
- Retrieve and wear all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to health and safety protocols during glass care tasks.
- Ensure all chemical bottles are properly labeled following MSDS (Martial safety data sheet guideline)
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including the lobby, guest corridors, elevators, offices, fitness center, spa lobby, spa locker rooms, pool area, pool restrooms, lounges, and all resort restrooms, to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for guests.
- Ensure the outer perimeter at the front and beach entrance is clean and free of dust and debris.
- Ensure all entrance mats are clean and vacuumed throughout.
- Clean all glass throughout the public areas, ensuring it is free of fingerprints and smudges.
- Ensure all public areas restrooms are thoroughly clean and in exceptional condition.
- Ensure every individual stall is maintained perfectly stocked with toilet tissue neatly pointed same as Kleenex tissue. Toilets and urinals areas sanitized free of smell, hair or dirty.
- Ensure restrooms fixtures are clean and polished daily.
- Ensure walls, baseboards, doors, doors frames, doors latches, ceiling and vents are clean free of dust, fingerprints and smudges.
- Ensure restroom floor is thoroughly clean and dry with special attention to corners and hard to reach areas.
- Ensure restrooms smells exceptionally clean and fresh.
- Hand soap and lotion dispensers are clean, and elegantly presented.
- Reusable towels in the restrooms are replenished through the day.
- Reusable towels basket its empty and clean through the day.
- Ensure to replace and/or refill amenities when is halfway empty, per training.
- Ensure restrooms mirrors are spotless and shiny, no splash, smudges or water spots.
- Ensure seating areas are kept organized and styled.
- Ensure sofas and cushions are exceptionally clean, free of stains, dust and smell.
- Ensure under the sofa and chair cushions is clean free of dust, debris and hair.
- Ensure tables are clean free of smudges, dust and drinks marks.
- Ensure carpet clean spotless, free of debris.
- Ensure carpet edges and baseboard are clean, free of dust and scarfs.
- Ensure light fixtures, light bulbs and lampshades are clean and free of dust.
- Ensure decorative pillows for sofas and chairs are plush, comfortable and elegantly presented.
- Trash is removed from public areas view.
- Ensure elevator doors are clean and polish using the recommended product.
- Ensure elevator buttons inside and out are clean and sanitize with the designated product.
- Ensure elevator is clean inside, mirrors, handle, bars, lighting are free of dust and smudges.
- Elevator landings are clear and accessible.
- Ensure floors are well maintained clean with the designated product, free of spots, dirt, dust and debris.
What We need from you:
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel preferred.
- Essential verbal and written communication skills.
- Housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and skills for taking initiative, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritizing.
- Passionate about hospitality and providing an outstanding guest experience.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop, and bend repetitively.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay range for this role is $24.52 to $30.65. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
