SUMMARY:
This position supports the Management Team by cleaning all dishware, glassware, utensils, pots and pans and returning them to correct storage. The Dishwasher will be responsible for daily cleaning of Meat room, prep areas, taking out all garbage and keeping the back dock and garbage dumpster area clean and organized. The Dishwasher may perform some basic food prep duties as assigned and may be required to help put away food orders as they arrive from vendors.

Education:
Preferred: Working towards High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:
Dishwashing Or Bussing Experience Recommended, But Not Required
Skills:
- Ability to efficiently deal with the rigorous demands of the restaurant business.
- Ability to interact with fellow employees and management and work as a team.
- Ability to work in a neat and organized manner.
Physical:
- Use of legs and feet, arms and hands, walk, stand, and carry up to 50 lb..
- Able to see and hear within normal standards with corrective devices if necessary.
Mental:
Read, write, and speak English, basic math skills, work under pressure
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This person will work in a kitchen atmosphere, which is a semi-hazardous environment with moderate to heavy noise. Hazards include hot surfaces, slippery floors, sharp knives and objects, heavy lifting, hot liquids, kitchen equipment including slicers, processors, and mixers.
The working hours are dependent on the weekly schedule established by the management team
Dinner service only, 5 days’ work week.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
The Dishwasher reports to the Corporate Chef, Chef and Sous Chef and management team
