Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and presentable. This role is crucial in providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for clients, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe usage is a plus.
- Must possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
