Job Summary: The Cleaning & Painting Technician will be responsible for ensuring that properties are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, carpet scrubbing, painting interiors and exteriors, and collaborating with the property management team to uphold our standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including (but not limited to) kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and common spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs or areas requiring special attention.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing properties for new residents, including deep cleaning and touch-ups.
Painting Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality and uniform appearance.
- Maintain an organized work area and adhere to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the property management team to plan and execute painting projects efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning and painting, preferably in a property management or maintenance setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Capable of standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including residential and commercial properties.
