Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Low Acid Specialist to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.
This role will be responsible for setting up the many systems throughout the area for blending and cleaning. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up the many systems throughout the area for blending and cleaning
- Cross trained to complete tasks in the Low Acid building and the Brew House building
- Monitor the automated computer system, which controls the flow of juice and ingredients in blending batches, as well as CIPs and SIPs
- Responsible for cleanup and 5S duties around work area
- Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year minimum of blending, batching and mixing of ingredients from a food manufacturing environment
- Proficient in using computers
- Proficient in solving basic math problems
- Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future
- Must be able to lift up to 55lb bags of product
Purpose:

- Actively support daily, period and annual plan

- Ensure reliable and safe operation of equipment through troubleshooting and working with maintenance to identify issues
- Build the capability of the organization through training
- Be a role model and lead the department in TPM objectives and priorities including AM, PM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and NWT teams
Safety:
- Ensure all safety rules, procedure, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed
- Set the example for others by demonstrating adherence to safety rules, procedures, policies and GMPs
- Proactively and aggressively address safety gaps
- Participate in department safety audits and department walk-throughs
Pay for this position is $29.11/hr
