SUMMARY
We are an Aerospace parts manufacturing company looking for a person with experience and/or desire to perform various general shop duties including but not limited to operating a variety of machines, deburring, cleaning parts by hand, adjusting parts by hand, etc.
- The employee may have the opportunity to be trained in more advanced tasks such as tooling setup, inspection, and CNC machines and given the opportunity to grow and earn more money.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must follow instructions of travelers, blue prints and other technical data as provided. Work under the close direction of senior personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area and adhere to all housekeeping requirements. Follow all safety procedures and rules and properly wear all safety protective equipment as required.
- Conduct oneself in a businesslike manner and in the spirit of teamwork. Positive attitude, self-motivated, team player and a good work ethic.
- Deburr functions including but not limited to breaking edges on corners, creating a radius, and polishing parts using hand and power equipment such as bench grinders, polishers, belt sanders, and air guns
- Clean metal parts through the use of hand-wiping and solvent washing cleaning
- Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient use of calipers, micrometers preferred.
- Must thrive in working in a SMALL team.
Hours: Full-time, 10 hours, Monday through Thursday. Friday Overtime will be required occasionally.
Preferred but not required Previous Experience:
Previous experience in deburring, blending, aerospace requirements, and use of gages (calipers/micrometers).

None required.
Physical requirements:
Will be required to stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools and controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
