The Overnight Restaurant Cleaner is responsible for cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc), stocking, and supplying designated facility areas. This is an individual who will also perform deep cleaning tasks and oversee the restaurant overnight.
Essential Functions
- Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, kitchen, store rooms, patio, perimeters around parking lot and landscaping, etc
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
- Stock and maintain supply room
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and communicating potential issues to management
- Oversee the restaurant during overnight
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience cleaning in a hotel or restaurant preferred
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
· Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
· Must be able communicate in English both verbal and written
· Must be able to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
