Help Wanted: Aquarium Cleaner (Part-Time)
Location: Cedar Pet Supply, St George
Position: Part-Time Aquarium Cleaner – Aquatic Department
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Weekends Off)
Pay: $13 - $15 per hour (Based on experience)

About Us:
Cedar Pet Supply in St George is a trusted local pet supply store with a passion for pets, particularly aquatic life. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Aquarium Cleaner in our Aquatic Department. If you have a love for fishkeeping and are eager to work in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of aquariums, ensuring optimal health for fish and aquatic plants.
Conduct water changes, vacuum substrates, and clean algae from tanks.
Test and monitor water parameters (pH, ammonia, nitrate, etc.) to maintain a healthy aquatic environment.
Assist with the upkeep of filtration systems and other aquatic equipment.
Ensure tanks are stocked and fish are well cared for, spotting any potential health issues early.
Work with the team to maintain a clean and organized Aquatic Department.

Qualifications:

Some knowledge of fishkeeping or prior experience with aquariums preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for aquatic life.
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain a schedule.
Basic understanding of water chemistry and aquarium equipment (a plus, but not required).
