The Limantour Lodge is the only accommodation within the Point Reyes National Seashore. Located 10 minutes from Point Reyes Station, surrounded by spectacular scenery, amazing hiking trails and beautiful beaches. As a Guest Service Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay.
Duties:
- Perform check in/check out, cleaning and housekeeping of common spaces, laundry, light maintenance, and grounds keeping duties while being surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.
- Become the ultimate host as you warmly welcome, register, and guide guests with infectious positivity. Your knack for connecting across cultures and languages will create memorable experiences for every traveler.
- Embrace our Property Management System software to handle individual and group reservations, ensuring efficiency and friendliness in every interaction, whether it's through the phone, email, or our user-friendly online system.
- Unleash your knack for resolution, swiftly addressing and resolving guest inquiries, issues, or concerns to maintain an atmosphere of carefree exploration.
- Champion the gathering of guest feedback, transforming their valuable insights into a catalyst for continuous improvement.
- Evoke a sense of belonging and security by upholding our procedures, ensuring the sanctuary of the property, its belongings, and the cherished memories of our guests and team.
- Stand as a true ambassador of our mission to create the best guest experiences, protect the resources of the National Seashore and reduce our environmental footprint wherever possible.
- Paint a vibrant picture of our lodge and the surrounding wonderland, leaving guests and visitors eager to embark on their own voyage of discovery.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process guest transactions. Handle cash/credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Share the magic of Point Reyes National Seashore, representing the National Park Service with pride, whether you're chatting with guests, callers, or local figures.
- Navigate an ever-changing landscape of tasks as assigned by the General Manager, contributing your unique spark to our collective adventure.
Requirements
- Previous guest services and housekeeping experience preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and weekends.
- Computer Literacy and familiarity with MS word, excel, Acrobat and cloud-based software is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is required - training can be provided.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs (at least 6 steps) and be able to move about the facility without difficulty or risk.
- Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- We are looking for a positive, team-oriented and friendly team member with excellent customer service skills who can maintain professional appearance and behavior at our facility.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
