Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are safe and welcoming for clients and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows and surfaces as needed.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on business needs.
- A valid driver's license and your own personal vehicle for traveling to and from locations.
Shifts To Fill:
Part-Time Commercial Shift- Three weeknights and option for both weekend days, two hours per shift.
Full-Time Shift- Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm with occasional weekend work options.
