Overview:
Join our team at our Childcare Center as a Janitor and contribute to creating a safe and clean environment for children to thrive. As a valued member of our high quality child care center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are well-maintained and sanitized-- base boards, door knobs, light switches, etc.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping and mopping to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Execute custodial duties to keep restrooms, classrooms, and common areas clean and orderly.
- Support industrial cleaning procedures as needed for specialized areas.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the center.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to perform custodial duties efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Experience in industrial cleaning procedures is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Our program is open Monday through Friday. Cleaning procedures can take place after hours in the evening (after 6pm), overnight, or early in the morning (before 7am). Cleaning MUST happen daily Monday through Thursday-- the fifth day can happen over the weekend or anytime before the following Monday morning.
Pay rate starts at $18/hour.
