Duties: Inspecting HVAC Systems: They assess air duct systems to determine the level of cleaning required, including checking for dirt, mold, and debris buildup.
Cleaning Air Ducts: Using specialized equipment such as vacuums, brushes, and blowers, they clean air ducts to remove dust, mold, and contaminants.
Customer Communication: Technicians explain their findings, provide recommendations, and answer any customer questions regarding the HVAC system's condition
Experience/requirements
General HVAC Knowledge: Some familiarity with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is preferred however we will include on the job training, as air ducts are a key part of these systems.
Previous Maintenance or Cleaning Experience: Experience in any cleaning, maintenance, or repair-related field is helpful, especially with equipment like vacuums, blowers, or other specialized tools.
Physical Fitness: The job requires physical labor, such as crawling into tight spaces on occasion and daily lifting of air duct cleaning hoses.
Customer Service Experience: Being friendly and confident with customers, being able to make additional sales when necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
