Overview:
This position performs shipping and receiving responsibilities for company products and equipment. This position reports to the local Production Manager.
Essential Functions:

- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks including the receipt of inbound materials.
- Responsible for warehouse functions including palletizing, de-palletizing, preparing packages for shipment, inbound/outbound order verification, and shipping/receiving duties, including lift truck and warehouse equipment operation.
- Performs general housekeeping and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and organization, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments.
- Assists the manufacturing team by pulling material(s) for production.
- Adherence to warehouse safety requirements and protocols.
- Performs other warehouse duties as assigned.
Competency Requirements:
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong Microsoft Office & Outlook skills
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Certified for forklift operation
- Follow written and verbal instructions

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments and is regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. The specific schedule for this position is a 40-hour work week within the hours of business operation. Occasional evening and weekend work are required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Reliable transportation is required for this position. Business travel including after hours and overnight is not required.
Required Education and Experience:
- Forklift Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Forklift Certification
- 2+ year of experience in a related field
- Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field
- Experience with warehouse and inventory management software tools
