Job description
Oceans Maintenance Group is looking for a Vacation Rental Cleaning Inspector to conduct daily property inspections for the properties that we manage. Property inspectors are the eyes and ears for each property in our portfolio and we count on them to keep our properties well maintained, and guest ready. Our inspectors are responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, cleaning issues, or other important information to our admin team. Our inspectors also assist with training, coaching and motivating our cleaners. Additionally, they jump in to clean properties as needed. Other field tasks to assist with managing our properties may also be assigned to the inspector. To be successful in this role, you should be a reliable, detail oriented person with a focus on quality. Reliable transportation, a working smart phone, and weekend availability are a requirement in this role. Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily cleaning operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the cleaning of rental properties to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Respond to client complaints and special requests
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock and guest toiletries
- Perform cleaning duties as needed
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
- Hands-on experience with cleaning or managing vacation rentals
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent changes
- Excellent organizational, communication and team management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and the ability to navigate the internet
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team

- Must be able to bend and lift at least 30 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
