Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in pool maintenance. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for start-up cleanings for newly constructed pools, the start-up of all new equipment and conducting pool school to teach customers how to operate their equipment. This role requires proficiency with pool equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool maintenance, including extensive cleaning during initial cleaning of pool, adding required chemicals, and equipment start up.
- Conduct service calls to residential pools to assist with equipment issues or customer concerns.
- Maintain paperwork as required.
- Communicate with clients regarding appointments.
- Internal communication to report job site concerns or issues for follow up
-Conduct pool school trainings for new pool owners, instructing them on how to operative their equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various pool equipment issues.
- Flexibility to travel DFW and surrounding areas, travel to job sites is required daily.
-Occasional out of town travel may be required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170.00 per day
