As a Floor Care Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of various spaces, including offices, homes, and commercial buildings. You will play a vital role in maintaining a healthy and safe environment for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Floorcare Services: Perform a range of floorcare services, including vacuuming, carpet cleaning, hard surface cleaning, and floor polishing, using various equipment and products.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring their satisfaction with the floorcare services provided.
- Scheduling: Coordinate with clients to determine the most suitable time for floorcare services, considering their specific needs and preferences.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all floorcare equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored to guarantee optimal performance and longevity.
- Quality Control: Inspect work completed to ensure it meets the company's high standards and address any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering additional items as needed.
- Supervisory Support: Assist the supervisory team in managing other floorcare technicians, providing guidance and support when required.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the supervisory team and clients, keeping them informed of any changes or updates related to floorcare services.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve floorcare services and processes, sharing ideas with the supervisory team for implementation.
Requirements:
- Flexible Availability: Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and daytime hours, depending on client needs.
- Supervisory Experience: Preferred experience in supervising a team or leading a project, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Multi-Lingual: Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or Portuguese, is a significant advantage for interacting with diverse clients and team members.
- Strong Work Ethic: A commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- Physical Ability: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment and maneuvering cleaning supplies.
- Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record, as you will be required to drive between client locations.
- Willing to train and work with the right attitude and aptitude.
