Job Description
As a
Villa Attendant, your attention to detail will make our guests feel special by maintaining a comfortable and inviting stay as they gather and relax in our two- and three-bedroom luxury oceanside villas.
Hourly Rate: $26.71
What You Will Be Doing
- Cleaning guest villas according to Fairmont standards including, but not limited to: dusting, neatly arranging guest belongings, turndown beds, removing soiled linen, retrieving clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming and amenity replenishment.
- Call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys
- Regularly update, record and/or report villa status: clean, do not require service, Privacy Please, etc.
- Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
- Reporting of any mattress protectors, blankets, bedspreads, daily cleaning as well as occasional projects that promote overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort, exceeding expectations in all guest areas. This involves vacuuming/mopping floors, refreshing garbage receptacles, cleaning bathrooms, window washing, dusting, polishing, replenishing amenities, furniture moving and special projects as assigned
- Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
- Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
- Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions, operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment as needed
Your Working Environment
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
- Must be able to push and pull 100 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking and reaching
- Frequent lifting/carrying, pushing and pulling
- Occasional crouching, bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, hearing and visual acuity
