About Us: Sandstone Care is a leading provider of comprehensive addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. Our Teen Residential Treatment Center in Crownsville Maryland is a beautiful 48 bed facility that offers a home like feel and comprehensive care for adolescents in treatment for substance misuse and mental health disorders.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the care and services that Sandstone Care provide and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, contributing to the overall well-being and positive atmosphere of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all common areas, client rooms, and other designated spaces are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
- Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and address any maintenance issues or repairs.
- Uphold health and safety standards, following all relevant protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Candidates must be CPR Certified prior to their first day of employment
