Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician or Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to excellence and an understanding of various cleaning techniques and equipment. The Carpet Cleaning Technician will ensure customer satisfaction through effective cleaning practices and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning services using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-cleaning inspections to assess the condition of carpets and identify any specific customer needs.
- Utilize commercial cleaning products safely and effectively, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
- Execute additional floor care tasks, including buffing and maintenance of hard surface floors as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Follow established protocols for environmental services to promote sustainability.
Experience
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to work days and weekends and an occasional night/evening.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
