Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
- Check stocking levels of all consumables
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
Skills
- Proven working experience in relevant field
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Helpful with customer service orientation
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- Knowledge of English languageHigh school degree
-A detail oriented person
-Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours
-Ability to have a flexible schedule as some days we may not have any cleans. Being able to change days per week is crucial.
-Able to lift up to 50lbs
-Ability to communicate regularly to manager about supplies and potential improvements
-Able to work without direct supervision. Heavier days may require you to be alone for several hours.
-Be somewhat familiar with different chemicals and house to operate laundry equipment. I.E- Not using bleach on treated wooden surfaces; being able to know what chemicals and products to use for what.
-Able to follow directions. If given a task by the lead housekeeper, be able to complete a task at any given moment even if it means dropping what you're currently doing
-Be familiar with household cleanliness. All of our units are furnished apartments / cottages. Our guests expect every surface to be "like-new" when arriving.
-Must be at least 18
-Must have valid drivers license
-Must be able to speak fluent English
