Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English as to be understood effectively by another individual.
Job Summary
- Performs housekeeping and cleaning activities within well established guidelines and assigned area.
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Physically healthy and strong enough to perform duties.
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive task on a continuous basis.
- Economical use of supplies, care and use of equipment.
- Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after training period is completed, and to do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.
- Follows cleaning schedule
- Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established housekeeping procedure.
- Cleans Floors: Dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, defects where and when necessary. Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
- Cleans movable and stationary furnishing and fixtures: Dust, Spot cleans, or washes disinfects when necessary, polishes where required. This includes the cleaning of ledges, shelves, vent etc. Empties, clean and relines wastebaskets. Straightens or rearranges furniture as directed. Inspects furnishings for wear and defect and reports to supervisor.
- Cleans Bathroom: Disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls as directed. Washes windows and mirrors Replenished bathroom supplies. Removes for cleaning and rehanging curtains.
- Cleans wall, windows, doors, and ceiling. Spot cleans between washing, washes, disinfect when necessary. Walls and ceilings and ceiling fixtures are cleaned as scheduled
- Cleans entrance and exits: Cleans as directed above for floors and walls.
- Cleans all horizontal daily as required, removing dust dirt or greasy film, using disinfectants where necessary such as in resident care areas.
- Perform terminal cleaning duties according to established procedure (see Nursing procedure manual) in resident room when resident has been discharged or transferred and prepares room for new occupant.
- Performs Cleaning duties in Isolation units when client is transferred.
- Removes waste and disposes of waste and trash. Waters flowers or dust and wipe as needed.
- Reports supply and equipment needs to Supervisor
- Maintains equipment used in performing duties
