Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization through effective cleaning and maintenance practices.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- cleaning of common area, refrigerators and break room area.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles for office spaces is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial for maintaining larger facilities.
- Experience in painting can be an asset for occasional maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential qualities for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.27 - $16.58 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
