We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. As a Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring and rebuilding damaged properties following water and fire incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of damaged properties to identify areas requiring restoration
- Operate power tools and hand tools to restore damaged structures
- Clean and sanitize surfaces to prevent further damage and ensure a healthy environment
- Utilize carpet cleaning equipment to restore carpets to their original condition
- Collaborate with restoration experts to design and execute effective restoration plans
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the restoration process
- Document all restoration activities and materials used
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols
- Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry, specifically in water, fire, or asbestos restoration
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning and restoration techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Certification in asbestos abatement or restoration techniques
- Prior experience in building restoration is a plus
- Knowledge of restoration industry regulations and safety protocols
