Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and maintaining facilities. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in keeping spaces clean and organized, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing, sweeping, and mopping
- Handle waste disposal and ensure proper recycling practices
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as needed
Skills:
- Must have the ability to strip, wax, polish and scrub tile floors.
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or related field
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
