We are working parents/family located in the Santa Cruz mountains (Bonny Doon, minutes from Downtown Santa Cruz) seeking a reliable and caring nanny/household assistant to join our household.

We are a family located in the Santa Cruz mountains (Bonny Doon, few short minutes from Downtown Santa Cruz) seeking a reliable and caring nanny/household helper for our household. We have an opportunity available for full-time position to care for our 15 month old child and assist with household tasks.

Responsibilities:

Provide nurturing and safe care for our child • Engage in age-appropriate activities, educational play, and outings
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child
Assist with family’s laundry, including folding and putting away clothes
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed, picking up toys and cleanup after child, clean kitchen, nursery.
Perform grocery shopping and run errands as needed
Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the child's development, goals and daily activities

Requirements:

Prior experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with excellent references
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and a clean driving record for errands and activities
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child
Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines and any specific care needs
Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to parents
Provide basic first aid if needed

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
