Diamond Foundry is seeking a skilled Technician to join our Surface Finishing team in Fremont, CA. As a Wafer Cleaning Technician in the Research and Development group, you will join a small group focused on Quality, Efficiency & Cost regarding Single Crystal Diamond wafer cleaning development. This position supports the Engineering effort through preparation of and operation of wafer-cleaning equipment, and related metrology tools.
The incumbent will be expected to work day shifts and 1 day on weekends.
- Assists process engineering in developmental and improvement projects on cleaning and inspection of diamond and Si wafers.
- Set up, operate, and clean wafer cleaning equipment including preparing wafer cleaning chemicals.
- Clean diamond/Si wafers and samples.
- Inspect and measure the post-cleaning wafers with WLI and AFM etc. metrology tools.
- Update system and stakeholders on backlog and progress.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree relevant to chemistry, chemical engineering, and/or materials science and engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in Cleaning, and/or polishing environment.
- Knowledge of surface Measurement/Inspection techniques.
- Attention to detail and good time management.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
