House Manager - Maitland/Winter Park Area
Salary: $25/hr (Negotiable + DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-2pm (Flexible)
Job Summary
The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a private residence in the Maitland/Winter Park area. This role involves managing household, ensuring smooth household functioning, organizing schedules, and maintaining the overall quality and upkeep of the residence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has experience in managing high-end properties and families.
Job Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily household operations, including maintenance, cleaning, and other tasks as required. Liaise with service providers (landscapers, contractors, cleaners) to ensure timely and high-quality service. Plan and coordinate events, gatherings, and dinners hosted in the residence. Monitor inventory levels for household supplies and ensure timely reordering. Manage the upkeep of the property, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Ensure all household systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) are functioning properly and arrange for repairs when necessary. Handle grocery shopping, meal preparation, or coordination with chefs/caterers. Handle laundry and dry cleaning drop off and pick up. Organize and maintain schedules for family members, including travel arrangements and appointments. Assist with personal errands and other duties as assigned by the homeowners. Qualifications: Proven experience as a House Manager or in a similar role managing high-end households. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing household needs and schedules. Comfortable with animals (dogs). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing event planning and coordination. Flexible schedule and ability to house sit during vacation periods Knowledge of smart home systems and technology. Culinary skills or experience managing catering services. About the Company:
