Business Unit Introduction – Operations: This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a small, passionate, diverse, accomplished, and rapidly evolving team of experts, you will assist in driving closures of work orders to get deliverables to the customer. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way rockets are made and operated.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Capable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts, fork trucks, and other ground support equipment as required

Helping with Continuous Improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
-
Perform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities, and eliminate FOD
-
Ability to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
-
Prioritize the movement of precision cleaned parts to ensure that work centers receive the necessary components in a timely manner, thus optimizing production and workflow efficiency.

Other duties as assigned by higher level technicians/supervision or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision
Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Ability to work from written work instructions

Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, disciplines, and backgrounds

Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and person

Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.

Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
