The Laundry Technician is responsible for the overall processing of linens and related duties to achieve clean and sanitized linens for our hospitals and facilities. The Laundry Aide position is essential in ensuring the laundry infection control policy and procedures are adhered to for the safety of our patients. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What You Will Do In This Role
- You will receive, weigh and log soiled linens from hospitals.
- You will visually inspect linens for damages and unserviceability.
- You will sort soiled linens according to wash formula and type as well as assist in the loading and unloading of washers.
- You will properly fold, stack and tie linens for orders and assist with the loading and unloading of vendor and supply trucks.
- You will assist with cleaning the laundry area and equipment as well as the break room and restrooms.
