Overview
We are looking for a custodian to clean and maintain Craftmade’s facilities. They will be responsible for cleaning and tidying the building’s office and warehouse on a regular basis. Additionally, they will need the physical capability to perform these tasks repetitively throughout the workday.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
- Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
- Good organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Available_ Monday - Friday_ from 4:00am to 12:30pm
Major Responsibilities
- Keep warehouse and office in clean and orderly condition
- Gather and empty trash throughout the facility
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors
- Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
- Report any maintenance issues to supervisor for repair
- Assume responsibility for the safe use and control of all cleaning chemicals, in compliance with local laws, policy, material safety data sheets, and manufacturer's instructions
- All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy / awkward shaped objects.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time
