Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our facilities and properties are clean, well-maintained, and meet our high standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in various settings, including residential, industrial, and commercial environments.
- Clean floors, surfaces, and equipment using a variety of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Use specialized equipment such as buffers and porter equipment to maintain facilities.
- Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and lubricating equipment.
- Collaborate with other facilities maintenance staff to ensure all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistent results.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with industrial and commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of residential painting and porter duties is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
