Prep Doctors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner [independent contractor] to join our team in Montreal. The Cleaner will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our office spaces, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks, including general upkeep, deep cleaning, and specialized sanitation, with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all office facilities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Dust furniture and surfaces to maintain a dust-free environment.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Stock and organize the linen closet.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas as required.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers, ensuring proper disposal.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Following all health and safety regulations provided.
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Must be familiar with WHMIS occupational health and safety standards.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal).
- Own or have access to reliable transportation.
- Own a cell phone (preferably a smartphone) that lets you be contacted reliably.
- Comfortably lift 40 lbs without risk of injury.
- Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Required to work with detergents and solvents
- Available for shift work, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, handling heavy loads.
- Contractor Requirement: This is an independent contractor position, so candidates must submit their corporation documents as part of the application process.
- Tax Documentation: A Business Number (BN) from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), which is used for tax purposes or GST/HST registration if applicable.
