Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team at Home2 Suites in providing exceptional cleaning and laundry services to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities.
Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces and fixtures
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
- Manage laundry facilities, including monitoring inventory and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects, such as re-carpeting or painting
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and meeting spaces
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Work effectively with other housekeeping staff members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and laundry operations
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proven track record of providing exceptional cleaning and customer service
- Experience with industrial cleaning products and equipment
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software or systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care and custodial duties
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning products and equipment
- Experience with housekeeping management
