Housekeeper
The Housekeeper is important to the success of the overall guest experience at the resort. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring we deliver a WOW experience to the residents and guests who visit or call the resort home. A primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the common area facilities are clean, neat, and well-stocked. Cleanliness & appearance are vital parts of drawing new and repeat guests to the resort.

About this opportunity:
- Location: Dream Camp Ocala, 16905 NW Highway 225, Reddick, FL 32686
- Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00, dependent on experience
- Position type: Part-time. This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends. The maximum number of hours per week is 28. Working hours can be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
What we are looking for in a Housekeeper candidate:
- High School Diploma preferred
- Driven for Excellence in hospitality and guest experience
- Professional appearance
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus
Excellent customer service skills
- - residents are our #1 priority, and team members are expected to WOW them daily
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Must live locally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a team
What you will do as a Housekeeper:
- Responsible for daily trash removal and cleaning all common area facilities and amenities, bathhouses, laundry rooms, available inventory, offices, etc.
- Responsible for thoroughly cleaning vacant units as assigned; cleaning includes:
- Changing linens, washing dishes and utensils, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, cleaning all faucets, sinks, toilets, countertops, showers, baseboards, shelving, blinds, windows, window, and door frames, all doors and door hardware (interior and exterior), door and window tracks.
- Removing all trash or debris from prior occupants and making the unit ready by restocking toiletries and welcome items for next arrival.
- Cleaning parking lot signs, stop signs, street signs, and common area management signs every quarter.
- Daily cleaning/sanitizing of all common area facilities, including bathhouses, bathrooms, offices, fitness center, pool area, clubhouse and rec center, tables, and chairs.
- Daily trash removal, restocking, and refresh of all areas.
- Daily refill of sanitizer in stations throughout the resort.
- Daily straightening of outdoor furniture around the pool.
- Monthly deep cleaning of all common area facilities, including baseboards, windows, blinds, ceiling fans, under/behind appliances and furniture, dusting throughout, and wiping down all pool furniture and equipment.
- Collaborating with the team on cleaning assignments for arrivals and departures.
- Immediately report any and all safety or wellness hazards to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Deep cleaning of common area flooring, as needed.
