**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our facilities team. As a Janitor/Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on commercial and industrial cleaning. **Duties:**
- Perform general cleaning duties, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash and recycling bins.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, unclogging drains.
- Clean and maintain facilities, including restrooms, break rooms, and offices.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain the appearance of the facilities by performing tasks such as buffing and polishing floors.
- Respond to special requests and perform special projects as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Familiarity with standard cleaning practices and procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Possess a valid driver's license, if applicable.
